Fenborders Border Collies

We are based in South Lincolnshire where we live with our daughters Amy and Emma. Our four Border Collies share our lives and home as members of the family and give us many hours of love and happiness.

Our dogs each ‘work’ at a discipline, as we believe that Border Collies, as a breed, thrive when they are given a focus to keep them mentally stimulated and content. They need more than just exercise to be completely happy.

Each of our dogs has been allowed to grow and develop in their own time. We introduce them to the disciplines that suit them best and let them show us which ones they enjoy the most. Our dogs get great pleasure from their ‘jobs’ and will do their very best to please, they work hard, play harder and have a much busier social diary than we do.

We occasionally breed from our dogs but mostly enjoy them for what they are; truly the best friends and companions that anyone could ask for. We breed for sound health, temperament and workability, these attributes can be seen very clearly in all of the dogs that we have bred. We are extremely proud of each and every one of them. Fenborders dogs have keen eyes,quick minds, are extremely agile and are a pleasure to train. They are eager to please and will give you more dedication and love than you could possibly imagine. Then they give you even more. They have great personalities and a sense of humour too, playing tricks on each other and on us when they can, making them great fun to live with. They are just as happy to play on the beach or walk up a mountain with us on holiday, as they are to curl up for a cuddle at the end of the day. ‘I have three of them curled up at my feet as I am typing now, their happiest place is close to me, wherever that may be. What more could you ask for?
