1st November 2007

For Jess’ second litter, we decided to choose a sire with an agility background to complement the skills that she has shown us. Aragorn is from fantastic show lines but he also has great abilities in agility (currently working well in Grade 6) and Obedience, gaining his Nov Ex before he was 2 1/2 yrs. He also passed his Kennel Club Good Citizen Gold at amazing 8 months. He has a lovely personality and is a very affectionate boy who loves ball games and is ‘water mad’ just like our Jess. We were confident that he and Jess would complement each other well. We were certainly not disappointed. All the pups from this mating have superb characters, they were all nicely marked and several have gone onto compete successfully at some level of Obedience or Breed showing. Thankyou Judita, they're fantastic.

This mating produced 3 girls and 3 boys, you can see their pedigree here.

Jazz - Fenborders Jazzmatazz

Gus - Fenborders The Stig

Fin - Fenborders Melt

TNS - Normal by parentage, BAER - Tested normal, CEA - puppy eye tested not affected.

Fin lives with Lucy and Jules in Hampshire. When asked what makes him so special to them, they replied: 'That he makes us laugh...a lot. He is our best boy and we wouldn't be without him.'
He likes to take them for a run, and loves to take them to the park, as they enjoy throwing balls for him to chase. He's such a good boy to look after his humans so well. His favourite thing to do at home is to squeeze into places that are too small for him. Fin has passed his KC Good Citizen Silver Test and is working towards his Gold. Well done Fin.

Tink - Fenborders Wishing on A Star.

BVA Hipscore - Total score 7, CEA - DNA tested normal, TNS - normal by parentage, BAER - Tested normal.

Tink lives with my brother and sister-in-law Jon and Lou and their new pup Chief. When they came to choose their pup they were hoping for a girl who would be just like Jess, she hasn't disapointed them. She is gentle, kind and loves playing tricks on them. She enjoy's a good game of tuggy with anyone who'll play and is completely ball mad. Tink is a quick learner and is coming on well at obedience, competing at companion level, she has already earned a Reserve in Pre-beginners. She also goes to agility and flyball training (just for fun), they hope to be competing with her in agility later this year.

Ben - Fenborders Ever Ready Teddy

TNS - Normal by parentage, BAER - tested normal. CEA - puppy eye tested not affected.

Ben lives with Carl and Kate, their two boys and Bailey the Border Terrier. We are so lucky to have Ben living in the same town as us as it means that we get to see him regularly. Kate and I often meet up and take all of the dogs for a walk in our local woods. It's really lovely to watch them run and play together. His favourite spot is on the sofa having a sneaky cuddle with their oldest son Sam. He also likes to keep the seat warm for him for when he gets home from school. Ben is extremely patient and is a very gentle and kind companion for Harry, their youngest son, who has cerebral palsy. Ben simply adores the boys and is maturing into a really lovely young dog.

Misty - Fenborders Stargazer

TNS - normal by parentage, BAER - tested normal, CEA - puppy tested unaffected.

Misty lives with Elly, Sean and their daughter Molly. She simply adores Molly and loves to play hide and seek with her. She has superb temperament and is loved by everyone she meets. She enjoys playing in the local woodland and going away with 'her friends' caravanning. She has passed her Kennel Club Good Citizen Silver test and is looking forward to taking her Gold test soon. She will be starting agility classes soon too. What a busy girl.
Elly says, " She's the best little dog in the world."
