Favourite Hobbies:
Running through muddy puddles, riding in the car (anywhere will do, thanks mum) and bird watching.
Gus - The Stig, is from Jess's second litter (Jess to Aragorn), is so named partly due to his head markings when he was a tiny pup and partly down to the fact that he spent most of his early weeks racing around, doing laps of the whelping box, (before he had even opened his eyes) at such speed and with little care of who got in the way. I thought, that if he's that fast and brave now, he shows great potential for when he grows up. Thankfully, he has started to look at who or what is in the way now.

Gus has now started competeting in agility and is showing huge potential. He is a very fast and powerful dog who is not afraid to give anything a go. He is jumping well and has fabulous weaves. He got a clear round in a Grade 3 jumping at the Empingham Show in July, and with his second clear round ever, came 3rd in Grade 3 Helter Skelter at the November Dog Vegas Show. I am looking forward to a successful agility season with him this year, now that he has grown used to the excitement of being at a show.

He has been lightly shown in Breed, being awarded a 4th - Reserve - in Puppy Dog at the East Anglian Border Collie Club Championship Show last year, and a 1st place in the Boston Premier Open Show in May 09. He will continue to be lightly shown in Breed. Living proof that boys can multi-task, just like his dad.

Gus is a very affectionate, sweet natured boy, who loves his cuddles. He is incredibly intelligent and picks up new tasks very, very quickly. You only have to ask him once, show him and he's got it. He has a great personality and spends much of his time playing with our other dogs. When he's not playing or riding in the car, he's shadowing Teri around the house, 'helping' her with jobs.
